Scott Hetz Clark has become one of the DMV’s standout jazz voices, performing everywhere from intimate tasting rooms in D.C.'s wine country to major concert stages, international embassies, and arts centers. After discovering his affinity for jazz during the post-pandemic return to live music, Scott has made a splash throughout DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. He is a regular performer at Carbonara Restaurant (Arlington)—a Newsweek nationally recognized restaurant—as well as wineries, breweries, lounges, and jazz nights across the region. 
 
Scott was a  Finalist in the prestigious Best of Loudoun competition in both 2025 and 2026 for Best Local Musician and has headlined several local music festivals including the Tarara Summer Concert Series and Crossroads Music Festival, often with Loudoun’s premier big band, Big Night.  With an education in classical voice and opera, yet influenced by great American crooners like Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin—and guided by the musical legacy of his grandfather’s barbershop quartet—Scott blends classic style with a modern touch, creating performances that feel both nostalgic and fresh.
